He was predeceased by : his parents, William E. and Mary K. Morris, Sr. (Williams); and his sister-in-law Fulvia Almeida Morris. He is survived by : his former life partner Flora Sue Smith; his wife Flo; his children, Pam Lingenfelter (Rick) and Emory Morris, III; his grandchildren, Josh Lingenfelter (Hailey Stauffer) of Chillicothe and Erin Lingenfelter of Chillicothe; his brother Ed Morris (Eliana) of Miami, Florida; his nephew Ed Morris (Jenny) of Orlando, FL; his niece Melissa Howard (Doug) of Miami, FL; and his great-nieces, Alexis, Katherine Howard, Charlotte and Emily Morris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chillicothe St. Jude Run.

“Flo and family, my son, Jason, forwarded the obituary. I'm sorry to hear of Emory's death and the notice was a reminder that being in Arizona, we don't get much news about Peoria/Dunlap unless forwarded by my son and family. I hope you and family know that I have many fond memories of the time we worked together and formed the Aggregates Business Group.
