It is with sadness that the passing of Lois Cherry of Dupo, Illinois is shared. Lois, born on July 12, 1936 in East Saint Louis, Illinois, passed away on August 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Moore and Ortha Mae Moore; her husband Richard Cherry Sr.; her children, Vicki Lynn Noel and Kenneth Michael Cherry; and her sister Kay Pruitt.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Cherry (Rebecca) of Dupo, IL, Nicki Taylor (Robert) of Caseyville, FL, Dennis Cherry (Kristi) of St. Jacob, IL and Louis Cherry (Bobbi) of Collinsville, IL; her sister Joan Koehler of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Tyann Dannette Cherry, Erica Rochelle Cherry, Sam Michael Taylor, Maya Marie Cherry, Jenna Summer Cherry and Sean Michael McClure; her stepgrandsons, Zack Farmer and Sean Hill; her great grandchild Sierra Rain Taylor; and her great great grandchildren, Kohen Taylor and Klark Saaverda. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
