Michael Anthony Wheatley Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Anthony Wheatley of Dupo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Jay" Wheatley and Charlotte Wheatley; and his former wife Jeanne Wheatley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wheatley; his children, Krista Wheatley (Russ Thomas), Michael Wheatley (Jessica), Angela Garrett (Freddy), Kara Dell-Hunt and Mary Putnam (Chris); his grandchildren, Kyleigh, Noah, Kyah, Makayla, Emmitt, Jackson, Jordan, Charlotte and Katy; and his mother-in-law Irma Proffer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Hospice of Southern IL and Shriner's Children's Hospital.
