With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Verna M. Ramirez of Dupo, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wagner and Mary Wagner; her brother Kenneth C. Wagner; and her brother-in-law Dale Winter. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Ramirez; her son Andrew Ramirez (Robyn) of Waterloo, IL.; her siblings, Robert Wagner (Bridget) of Columbia, IL., George Wagner of Dupo, IL. and Patricia Winter of Bloomington, IN.; her grandsons, Cole and Cade; and her pet Lucina.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Autism Society of America.
