We bid farewell to Betty M. Thompson of Durand, Illinois, born in Warren, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald E. Thompson Sr.; and her siblings, Bob Homan, Bill Homan, Pearl Homan, Daniel VanBuskirk and Donald VanBuskirk.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Krueger (Scott), Loretta LaMagdelaine (John), Sally Hoefle (Jay), Donald Thompson Jr. (Jo) and David Thompson (Cindy); her grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Miranda, Nathan, Travis, Dana, Donald, Shawna, Dillon, Courtney, Rene and Marie; and her sister Lois Hermann. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
