It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Lawson of Durand, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Creek and Anna Creek (Beasley); her husband James Lawson; and her sister Vida Blade. She is survived by: her children, Pat Geiken (Russ) and Robby Lawson (Vicki); her grandchildren, Missy Keller, Chris Keller, Jim Lawson (Brenda), Mark Lawson (Alice), Scott Lawson (Kimberly), Keith Geiken (Stacie) and Annette Geiken; and her nieces, Marylynn and Sherrie. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
