He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Bright and Nettie Hartbank (Redmond); and his sister Sarah. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Bright of Durand; his daughters, Jennifer Bast (Tom) of Rockton and Ali Behn (Andy) of Pecatonica; his grandchildren, Emily George (Adam Twine) of Rockton, Austin George (Bailey) of Foley, AL and Brayden Behn of Pecatonica; his great grandchildren, Ella Caler, Charlotte Twine and Crue Twine of Rockton; and his brothers, Fred Hartbank (Patty) and Chris Hartbank (Diana). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Genandt Chapel (602 N Elida St, Winnebago, IL 61088).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for a memorial that will be established.
