Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mulcahey and Marcella Mulcahey; his wife Anna Mae; and his sister Peg Wirtz. He is survived by: his sister Marge Rosellini; and his nieces and nephews, Rick (Maryanne), Susan Alberstett (Mike), Barbara Hickey (Paul), Marty, John (Kristi) and Megan Bower (Joe). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (606 W Main St, Durand, IL 61024).
