He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Alltop (Hindman) and Glenn Alltop; and his wife Linda Alltop. He is survived by: his children, Casey Alltop-Piebenga (Mark) and Greg Alltop (Tanya); his grandsons, Dexter, Beau and Marvin; his siblings, Sue Gentes (Doug) and Rob Alltop (Sharetta); and the mother of his children Mary Alltop. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.

The inurnment was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
