David Lee Murphy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lee Murphy of Dwight, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Junior and Virginia Murphy; and his sister Joy Murphy. He is survived by: his friends, David Marti, Bill Frickey, Mark Baker, Glenn Peters, Jim Hendrix, Dustin DeVore, Jay Patten and Eric Moore; his wife Janice Anderson of Dwight, IL.; his daughters, Liz Pavlick (Steve) of Streator, IL, Amanda Murphy (Jason Garcia) of Dwight, IL., Brittney Lemons and Brandi Peters; his sisters, Judy Hendrix of Herscher, IL and Vicki Dickey (Don) of Peoria, AZ.; his granddaughters, Cadence and Megan; and his siblings, Doug Murphy and Diane Devore.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Assembly of God (903 S Old Rte 66, Dwight, IL 60420). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to David's family.
