It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy A. Butterfield of Dwight, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gene and Mary Jane Butterfield; his brothers, Charles G. Butterfield, Jr. and Edward T. Butterfield; and his sister-in-law Kim Olroyd.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Butterfield; his daughters, Michelle Larkin (Glenn), Sarah Butterfield and Jessica Brandt (Dylan); his grandchildren, Brysen Allen Seidler, Payton Alan Larkin, McKenna Mae Larkin, Mila Ruth Brandt and Ella Gene Brandt; his siblings, Mary Marlene Bryant (Robert), Holly Ann Waldron and Barry Joseph Butterfield; and his pet Ruby Doo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home - Morris (1201 US-6, Morris, IL 60450). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery-Morris North (2330 Old Stage Rd, Morris, IL 60450).
