With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denise L. Hess of Earlville, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Towne and Mary Towne (Strader); her husband James Hess; and her sister Rita. She is survived by: her son Sammy Joe Towne; her grandchildren, Jordan Conduff (Koty), Anthony Towne and Chance Towne; her great grandchildren, Eliana and Elias Mansbury; and her siblings, Gloria Mietzner, Donna Riis, Doris Grimes (Chip), Doug Towne, Dean Towne and Dora Beyers (Kent). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
