He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Schenk and Donna Lee Schenk (Watson); his sons, Richard Schenk, David Schenk and Daniel Schenk; and his siblings, Cathy Staley of Ohio, Karen Elick of Moro, Ruth Muick of Troy, IL and Keith Schenk of Springfield, IL.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Paynic Home For Funerals (618 E Airline Dr, East Alton, IL 62024). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
