He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Henry and Audrey Marie Friedel (Snyders); and his brother-in-law Lee Rinderer. He is survived by: his wife Trish Friedel of East Alton; his sons, Daniel Friedel (Kayla) of Cottage Hills and Father Michael Friedel of Springfield; his granddaughter Ruby Friedel; and his siblings, Nick Friedel (Jess) of Staunton, Angie Rinderer of Highland, René Fite (Bob) of Bunker Hill and Sue Vogel (Steve) of Midway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
