He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Cordes and Christelle Cordes Maggio (Hagland); his grandmother Betty Haglund; and his pet Brave. He is survived by: his wife Christy Skahill; his children, Brian Cordes Jr. and Marissa Cordes; his stepson Ethan Aughenbaugh; his siblings, Jon Cordes, Rebeka Putnam (Shawn) and Anthony Maggio (Samantha); his grandfather Erick Haglund; his parents-in-law, Donna Johnson and Larry Johnson; and his brother-in-law Scott Skahill. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces.
