He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hinderman and Clara Hinderman (Kowalski); his daughter Pamela Ann; his siblings, Jerome (Alverna), Rosella Roth (Merlin), Lucille Jackson (Don) and Jean Reisen (Ralph); his parents-in-law, Earl and Delores Roth; and his siblings-in-law, Lilly Gibson (Wally), Sandy Foht (Jerry) and Randy Roth.
He is survived by: his son Darin (Anne) of Peoria, IL; his siblings, Germaine Hayes and Valentine of East Dubuque; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Roth (Marge) and Laurie Brandel (Tom). He is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1185 IL-35, East Dubuque, IL 61025). Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (170 Montgomery Ave, East Dubuque, IL 61025). The military honors was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the East Dubuque Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Mary's Church, East Dubuque, or Jo Daviess County Transit (Veteran's Riders Program) in Galena, IL.
