She is survived by: her spouse Francis Ames (Fritz); her children, Lynn Ames of East Dubuque, John Ames (Geralyn) of Colleyville, TX, Sue Hartung of Preston, IA, Laura Mechelke (Kurt) of Kirkwood, MO and Gary Ames (Kathy) of Fayetteville, GA.; her grandchildren, Eric Ames (Diana), Chelsea Hoeller (Bryan), Neil Gamel-Ames (Chris), Lisa Hornung, Robbie Hornung (Vanessa), Michael Hartung, Sara Hartung, Morgan Cochran (Mitch), Cole Mechelke, Callie Mechelke and Nick Ames; and her sisters, Mary Jacobsmeyer (David) and Charlotte Pfeiffer (Tom).
