He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Paula Hoftender of Davenport, IA.; his siblings, Leroy Hoftender, Shirley Gassman (Rick), Pat Gross and Gerald "Moe" Hoftender (Lynn); and his siblings-in-law, Deanna Hoftender and Herbert Brimeyer. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
