He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shaw and Dorothy Shaw; his sisters, Jane and Jill; his in-laws, Jack and Jeanne Ikert; and his brother-in-law Jeff Ikert.
He is survived by: his wife Jill M. Ikert; his pets, Gracie and Marley; his in-laws, Jane Theis (JT), Jim Ikert and Julie Bartlet (Steve); his nieces and nephews, Kelly Mapes, Nick Theis (Amanda), Peyton Bartelt and Riley Bartelt; his great-nieces, Eva and Ella Mapes; his great-nephew Ben Theis; and his friends, John Kozin, Derek Biba, Terry Morgan, Louie Tasson and Ray Gurski.
