John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sierpien and Marie Sierpien. He is survived by: his wife Janene Punzio; his son Jason Sierpien (Amy); and his grandchildren, Ty and Kaylee.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (845 W Main St, West Dundee, IL 60118).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
