It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy J. Behymer of East Moline, Illinois, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Amy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Amy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Amy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Daugherty and Anna Daugherty (Brown); and her sister JoAnn Evans. She is survived by: her son Eric; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Behymer; her granddaughters, Emma and Claire; her brother Robert Daugherty; and her niece Nancy Seaton.
