Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Eleanor Rose (East Moline, Illinois), born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 90, on March 7, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Gates and Margaret Gates (Brooks); her spouse Sidney W. Rose; and her stepson David Rose. She is survived by : her daughters, Marsha La Rue (Dennis), Charlene Lord of Pittsburgh, PA, Debra Woolsey and Brenda Emerick (Ronnie Merz); her stepchildren, Bill Rose, Bruce Rose, Jim Rose (Barb), Milan, Lisa Rose (Jay Hudson) and Charlene Dale (Brian); and her sister Delores. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Rock Island County Animal Shelter.
