She was predeceased by: her mothers, Hazel Wakefield and Carrie Wakefield; her sister Pearl Mae Patterson; her aunt Rosalee Boldton; her uncle Jimmie Lee Boldton; her grandmother Carrie Mae Boldton; and her great grandchild Jayden Cody Brown.
She is survived by: her husband John Wickersham Jr. of East Moline, IL; her brothers, Jim Wakefield (Mattie) and Donald Wakefield; her children, James Wakefield (Mindy) of Silvis, IL, LaTayna Williams of East Moline, IL, Louis Williams Jr. (Veronica), Hazel Williams of Silvis, IL, Jackie Thompson of East Moline, IL, LaKeysha Wakefield of East Moline, IL, Selita Wickersham of East Moline, IL and John Wickersham II of East Moline, IL; her godsons, Alejandro and Patrick Wickersham Jr.; and her nephew Robert Wakefield. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (1501 6th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of James Wakefield.
