He was predeceased by: his parents, Librado La and Mary De La (Moreno); and his siblings, Joseph "Pepe", Manuel, Leo De La Rosa, Mary Teresa Tribbett, Esther Pizano and Lucy De La Rosa.
He is survived by: his wife Koleen M. Kelly of East Moline; his children, Andrea De La Rosa (Jason Woods) of Minneapolis, MN, Anthony De La (Sandra), Bettendorf and Lindsey Gonzales (Joe); his stepsons, Daneil Powell (Susie) of Beech Grove, IN and Derrick Powell (Tracey) of Greenwood, IN; and his sister Rita Williams. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Van Hoe Funeral Home (1500 6th St, East Moline, IL 61244). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (412 10th St, Moline, IL 61265). An entombment was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the St. Mary Cemetery (2301 3rd St, East Moline, IL 61244).
