He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Schulte and Clarence Schulte; his daughter Dawn Schulte; and his siblings, Carol Stitzel, Merle Schulte and Earl Schulte.
He is survived by: his sister Donna "Sis" Barley (Duke) of Mansfield, Ohio; his children, Cynthia Ferrante of Arizona, James Schulte (Benita) of Port Byron, Illinois and DeAnn Snodgrass of Oswego, Illinois; his grandchildren, Drake Wash-Prado, Jacob Schulte, Emily Witherspoon (Anthony), Madeline Schulte, Madison Wash (Brandon Holtam) and Lucas Snodgrass; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Charlotte and Zachariah Witherspoon; his sister-in-law Janet Schulte; and his friend Ron Plank. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dean's memory to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
