He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Emma Freers (Reed); his son Charles "Chuckie" Freers; his father Charles Freers (Geraldine); and his brother Fred Freers. He is survived by: his wife Corinne Bell; his daughters, Teri Williams of Rock Island and Amy Kraaijer (Martin) of Columbia Falls, Montana; his grandchildren, Joshua Huntley (Mandie), Elizabeth Williams, Katherine Williams, Grace Arakaki, Faith Arakaki and Rook Arakaki; and his great grandchildren, Rae Kaylor, Amelia Huntley and Christopher Horn.
