He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Louis and Bernice Laird Hand; his son Terrance Hand; and his brother Willis. He is survived by: his wife Doris M. Newman; and his children, Jill Hand (Kevin Koespel) and Jeffrey Hand (Martha). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
