Joe leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joe’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joe will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Elizabeth Melton (Brown) and John Melton; and his son Richard Melton. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Melton; and his sons, Larry Melton (Sonja) and Bryant Melton (Robin). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
