He was predeceased by: his father John Shanklin. He is survived by: his mother Laverne Harold; his son Marlon Davis; his siblings, Gwen, Zakee, Marvin, Bill and Judy Woodson; and his uncles, Bay and JD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A procession will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
