He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Blakeney and Betty Blakeney (Arvidson); his wife Jean C. Goderis; and his brother Steve Blakeney. He is survived by: his children, Brandy (Reece Kriener), West and Michael Blakeney; his grandson Isaac Kriener; and his brother Mark Blakeney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Van Hoe Funeral Home (1500 6th St, East Moline, IL 61244). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (2301 3rd St, East Moline, IL 61244).
