It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Sherman of East Moline, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Herrmann and Ellen Herrmann; and her siblings, Vernon Herrmann and Jean Wegener. She is survived by: her children, Richard Sherman (Jennifer) of Marion, Iowa, Ronald Sherman (Robin) of Puyallup, Washington, Katherine Kaschke-Morford (Mike) of East Moline, Illinois and Thomas Sherman (Christine) of Huntley, Illinois. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren, with one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St Mary Catholic Church (321 Pine St, DeKalb, IL 60115).
