With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Berthoud of East Moline, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Berthoud and Ruth Berthoud (Mallas). He is survived by : his children, Tina Berthoud of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Billy Joe Berthoud of Peoria, Samantha Smith (Timothy) of Hillsdale and Robert Berthoud (Cassie) of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, Lexas Berthoud, Abby Berthoud, Hunter Berthoud, Teagan Berthoud, Amelia Jacobsen, Arya Smith, Noah Myers, Hazel Berthoud and Christopher Chaney; his siblings, Mary Anne Smith (Andre) of Carbon Cliff and William Berthoud Jr. (Pam) of East Moline; his nieces, Tammy McAlonan, Shelly Ortiz and April Hendrickson; and his close friend Captain Kirk.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Schroder Mortuary - Silvis (701 1st Ave, Silvis, IL 61282).
