She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Fox and Mary Fox; her husband Bob Mewes; and her sister Karen Anselmi (Mike Anselmi). She is survived by: her son Darrin Lawson (Jen); her grandchildren, Hunter (Chloe) and Hannah; her brother Gary Fox (Cheryl Brooks); her close friend Mike Anselmi; her stepgranddaughter Jaymie Sanders; her stepgreat-granddaughter Mattie Munn; and her stepdaughter JoEllen Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
