She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brown and Dora Brown (Gordon); her husband Robert "Chuck" Hurst; and her brothers, Sammy and Bob Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Brent Aleshire of East Peoria and Jonas Aleshire of Forest City, IL; her grandchildren, Ryleigh Aleshire of Forest City and Lucas Sanders of Forest City; her siblings, Ed Brown of Texas and Paula Miller (David) of Texas; and her stepbrothers, Ron Rhodes of Texas, Robert Rhodes of Pekin and Lowell Rhodes of Southern Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the Riverside Community Church or the TRC-Deaf Ministries in Princeville.
