He was predeceased by: his parents, Wheeler Ewing Sr. and Malissia Leatherwood-Ewing; and his brother Wheeler Ewing Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Lee M. Ewing, Willis Ewing of East St, Mary Jackson of Shiloh, Ada Ann Gates of St. Louis and Jackie Thomas (William) of Kansas City, Missouri; his uncle Thurman Jackson of Chicago, Illinois; and his aunts, May Wiggins (Cleothis) of Detroit and Lillie Whitman of Houston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
