He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Garlisch and Anna K. Garlisch (Jacobs); his stepson Nick Phelps; and his brother Eldon Garlisch. He is survived by: his wife Brenda of Easton; his children, Chad Garlisch of Havana and Lindsy McAnally (Lonnie) of Petersburg; his stepdaughters, Amber Choate (Corey) of Eureka, Beka Dodson (Justin) of Carterville and Kelsey Seggerman (Adam) of Bloomington; and his siblings, Roger Garlisch of Mason City, Janet Whiteman (Don) of Pekin and Karlene Grelck (Alan) of San Jose. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
