It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse J. Cookson of Easton, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse B. Cookson and Anna Mae Cookson (Bright); and his spouse Fay Tomlinson. He is survived by : his children, Kelly Cookson of Easton, Susie Cookson of Easton, Stephanie Leonard (Kenny) of Easton and Jamie Billingsly of Pekin; and his grandchildren, Zach Cookson of Easton, Lexi, Conner and Quentin Billingsley of Pekin.
