He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald David and Esther Ellen Patterson (Shawgo); and his sister Marian. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl (Bortel); his children, Michael of Springfield, Kevin (Jan) of Phoenix, Patricia Price (Rick) of Petersburg and Elizabeth Oberhausen (Brian) of Birmingham, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Tony Patterson (Suzie Erwin), Levi Patterson, Amy Cetina, Matthew Price (Ellie Montgomery), Megan Price (Austin Gusewelle) and Jake Caughell (Holly); and his siblings, Elsie Mann, Doris Bagby and Bob Patterson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Mason City (603 E Chestnut St, Mason City, IL 62664). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
