With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daris D. Palmer of Eddyville, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Eugene Palmer and Lela Sybol Palmer (Barger); his brother Gene Palmer; his wife Sheila Louise Palmer (Amos) of Waterford, MI.; and his daughter Sandra Sue Richards (Palmer).
He is survived by: his siblings, Marvin (Gail Palmer) of Ozark, IL and Loretta Wilson of Washington; his daughters, Cynthia Joy Hall (late Kenneth) and Darise Denee Cullum (Eddy Cullum); his son-in-law Larry Richards (late Sandra Richards); his grandchildren, Heidi Parrott (Justin), Kenneth "Michael" Hall (Jessi), Joshua Hall (Mikki), Cecily Conaughty (Wesley), Zachary Cullum (Samantha) and Ketelyn Bremer (John); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Morse, Brylen Conaughty Joshua "Wyatt" Hall, Avery Pattott, James Hall, Colby Parrott, Keegan Cullum, Layken Cullum, Noa Bremer, Cora Conaughty, Jace Hall, Wrenlee Bremer, Blair Cullum, Jaxon Conaughty, Declan Cullum and Jamison Bremer; and his great great grandchild Eliana Conaughty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Home Cemetery.
