She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Slimp and Grace Slimp (Hackney); her husband Richard Pegg; her sons, Richard Keith Pegg and Michael Pegg; her brother Bill Slimp; and her half-siblings, Robert Slimp and Kathy Ellenbecker.
She is survived by: her children, Steve (Karla Pegg) of Manteno, IL and Sandie (Thom Benson) of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchildren, Patricia Cossey (Shannon), Stephanie Dowdy (Brad), Ashley Beaumont (Darin), Misty Harris (Ben), Nicole Stark, Erin Emerson (Jacob) and Ashley Martinez (Nicholas); her great grandchildren, Brittney Cossey, Bobby Cossey, Graci Doggett, Keith Dowdy, Veta Harris, Charly Harris, Keller Harris, Devin Beaumont, Austin Beaumont, Evan Neblock, Declin Stark, Rowan Martinez, Kylen Martinez, Jace Emerson, Jordan Emerson and Harris; her great great grandchildren, Emeri Leigh Pritchett and Ellie JoLynn Pritchett; and her siblings, Paula Barnes, Lowell Slimp, Barbara Cheek, Raymond Slimp and Sherry Slimp. She is also survived by Mom who adored her husband, children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Aly Funeral Home - Eddyville (1099 IL-145, Eddyville, IL 62928). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
