He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Schatz and Mary Alvena Schatz (Kramer); his siblings, Francis Schatz and Mary Catherine Russell; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Duff, Robert Mansfield, Paul Knight and Howard Russell.
He is survived by: his friend Delores Vogel of Farina; and his siblings, Virginia Mansfield of Chesterfield, Dorothy Duff of Henderson, Dolores Peters (Dave) of Omaha, Nebraska and Robert Schatz (Corrine) of Dubuque, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church in Edgewood, Altamont Lutheran Care Center, or the donor's choice.
