He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wood and Matilda Wood (McCauly); his son Jeremy Richardson; and his brother Russell Avery. He is survived by: his significant other Anne Sablotny; his sons, David S. Richardson and Jason Wood; and his sisters, Susan E. Wood and Carolyn Brooks (Larry).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
