In the sacred silence of farewell, Larry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Larry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Upton Jr. and Marilyn Upton (Perry); and his stepbrother Wayne Upton. He is survived by: his fiancé Jackie Upton; his daughters, Joanna (Patrick), Cornland and Crystal Marquis (Bill) of Decatur; his stepdaughter Angela Berry (Matt) of Alton; and his pet Cheeka. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sutton Memorial (327 N Clay St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
