Lloyd Linton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Linton of Edinburg, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Linton and Maxine Linton; his nephew Rand Linton Megginson; his uncle Bill; and his aunt Marilyn Osborne.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Linton; his children, D. R. Linton (Alie Denning), Ashley Francis (Jayme) and Dylan Linton (Tiffany); his sister Marsha Farr (Frank); and his grandchildren, Rand Linton, Faye Francis, Lillian Linton, Elise Linton and Huntley Linton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support Kathy Linton, as the family navigates this season of loss.
