She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald LaFore and Lora LaFore (Dozier); and her brother Lance LaFore. She is survived by: her significant other Daniel V. Brinkman; and her brother Kirk LaFore (Jennifer) of Smithton, IL..
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weber & Rodney Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Partners for Pets, an organization close to Dena's heart.
