“Everyday I walk up the steps in my home and pass a wrinkled old newspaper photo among pictures of family and friends from 1994 . I met my wife maybe at that very auction where Don charmed my wife , along with many others, from the podium and inspired her to by way too many pieces. He brought us together that evening and he shared that same enthusiasm with countless others. Through his art and his teachingI’ll miss Don, the chicken farmer , as we would often call him with the greatest affection”
