She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Dennigmann and Saloma Dennigmann; her husband Rudy Spanholtz; her former husband Virgil R. Younger, Jr.; her children, Daniel Vincent Younger, Carol Jean Haase and Julia Kay Younger; and her siblings, Vincent H. Denningmann, Donald Dennigmann and Margie Kelly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Lee Hinton (Gerry) of Vancouver, Jo Lynn Younger Robinson (Kevin) of Collinsville, IL and Marsha Ann Demetrulias (Wayne) of Dupo, IL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; multiple step-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (304 South St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery (304 South St, Collinsville, IL 62234).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Lutheran Church Youth, or to the Collinsville Sunrise Kiwanis and will be accepted at the visitation or may be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
