He was predeceased by: his father Frederick W. Stein, Sr.; and his brother Mark Stein. He is survived by: his mother Betty Stein, Sr. (Hughes); his wife Pamela J. "Pam" Stein (Brokman) of Edwardsville, Illinois; his daughters, Amanda Stein (Bill Stimson) of Edwardsville, Jennifer Stein of Mascoutah, Illinois and Amy Stein of Mascoutah, Illinois; his siblings, Greg Stein (Cindy), Vicky Sczurek, Lori Stein and Scott Stein (Emma); and his brothers-in-law, Greg Brokman, Ron Swesey and Charlie Swesey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
