Herman Shaw Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herman Shaw of Edwardsville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Shaw and Ethel L. Aitch-Shaw; his siblings, Roberta, Cecilia and Earl; and his son Kyle Dickerson.

He is survived by: his family Edwardsville; his daughters, Juanita Shaw and Cora Shaw; his significant other Elizabeth Nash; his siblings, Harry Shaw (Christiana) and Carolyn Turner (Jack); his daughter Iva-Surette Washum; his grandchildren, Nakita, Malcolm, Micah and Riley; and his great grandchildren, Vincent, Navi and Nalonni.
