He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fowler and Moneta Fowler (Hoeber); his sister Shirley Hudson; his stepdaughter Ashley Stewart; and his brother-in-law James Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Fowler; his children, Greg Fowler (Candy) of Glen Carbon, Charles Fowler (Jennifer) of Edwardsville and Deborah Fowler of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Lucas Weatherford, Jonathan Fowler (Claire), James Fowler (Kaitlin), Shelton, Teagan Troxtell, Shana Carrico (Kyle) and Mandy Kayser (Destin); his stepgranddaughter Kelly Ward; his great grandchildren, Jett, Jonah Fowler, Maylee, Callen Kayser, Russell and Benjamin Carrico; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Wohlford (Brent) and Jim Hair (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Sunset Hills Country Club (2525 S State Rte 157, Edwardsville, IL 62025).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the SIUE Foundation in care of Weber & Rodney Funeral Home.
